Our range covers 80 herbs from the Amazon rainforest and the Andes, as single-herb capsules, as formulas that bring several herbs together, and as liquid extracts, oils and bulk herbs.

How a Raintree capsule is made
Four steps, from the plant to the bottle.
- Harvest
Our suppliers in the Amazon and the Andes harvest each plant part at peak potency, in its season. Most herbs are wild-harvested from living plants; a few are grown.
- Dry and ship
The leaf, bark, root or fruit is gathered fresh, dried and sent direct to the USA. Our herbs are never irradiated or fumigated.
- Encapsulate in the USA
Only the plant part goes into a vegan capsule (hypromellose, a plant cellulose). No fillers, binders or flow agents.
- Test and release
Every batch is tested for heavy metals, mould, yeast and pathogens before release. Plant, part, origin and amount are on every label.
Good for the forest they come from
Most of our herbs are wild-harvested from living plants in the Amazon and the Andes, and some are sourced only for Raintree. A forest that is harvested for its leaves, barks and fruits keeps earning year after year, so it is worth more standing than cleared.
Our supplier also replants forest, and Raintree donates to charities linked to the rainforest.
